In 1969, Lentheric Fragrances sponsored the First Annual Tweed Designer Award. Winner Barbara Abrams created this fall collection of tweed fashions for Country Set. Barbara was a senior at the Parsons School of Design when she won this prestigious award, and she went on to teach at her alma mater for 20 years:



Ronnie Carol modeled these classic yet contemporary separates in green and gold in the September 1969 Seventeen magazine:

In contrast, brown tweed with Pippin-red accents was the popular color combination for Fall 1957:
