PostRARE "Gone With The Wind" Makeup Ads 1939 & 1940

The epic movie Gone With The Wind was first released in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 15, 1939. It was produced by David O. Selznick and starred Clark Gable as Rhett Butler and Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara:

The La Cross company of Newark, New Jersey was known for their nail products. They created 3 new Scarlett O'Hara shades of nail polish to tie in with the film. Here are two RARE magazine ads featuring Vivien Leigh:

In honor of the 70th anniversary of the release of Gone With The Wind, Turner Classic Movies is having a special event showing on December 15, 2009 at 8:00 P.M.:

Immediately after the movie at 12:00 A.M. on December 16, 2009, The Making of the Legend: Gone With The Wind (1988) will be shown:

I was excited to locate another 1940 La Cross nail products ad that was tied in with Gone With The Wind! This one is the rarest of all because it featured both Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh:
