PostNEW Often a Bridesmaid...without LISTERINE

You won't believe these two Listerine ads that I found from the 1930s! They're great examples of the evolution of marketing to women over the decades:

Often a BRIDESMAID but never a BRIDE...

1937

62 years later, RONNIE CAROL wants to KNOCK 'EM DEAD. She proudly wears her flowers instead of crying over them...

Ronnie Carol's Headsheet Album

I was a LEMON in the GARDEN of LOVE...

1939

59 years later, JOAN PAULSON might look like she's eating a LEMON, but she gets a KISS in the end...

All of these ads can be found in the Ad Campaigns Album: Other Beauty Ads: Miscellaneous
