I have a few more ads that I'd like to share from the first issue of Seventeen magazine, September 1944. This Maybelline ad is actually the back cover. Isn't it exquisite? The right hand that is cupping the flame actually appears translucent!



The beautiful model is Elyse Knox, and the photographer was her first husband Paul Hess. Elyse later...
